Olive Verdale is selected both for its ornamental as well as fruiting capabilities. The fruit has a large stone but is a great tasting table olive. All fruit harvested requires processing before eating. It has beautiful dense silvery foliage and is a very hardy tree that thriving in our Mediterranean conditions. This olive looks great as a feature tree or hedge. It can also be trained to grow as a espalier or a standard.
