PERENNIAL WEEDS
NUT GRASS This is one of the weeds that makes people freak out when they find it growing in their lawns or garden beds. WHAT A PROBLEM........WHAT SHOULD YOU DO??? ......... SHIFT !!!. I had the same problem some years ago in the front lawn of a new house I'd just bought. Here is what you can do.
All you will need is a cotton bud or a very small paint brush.
On one leaf of each plant paint GLYPHOSATE WEED KILLER straight from the container.
This poison will kill the whole plant including the roots which may have small bulblets attached to the main plant.
You will have to repeat some areas if any nut grass come up later in the season or the following year. MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT SPILL OR PAINT ANY ON THE LAWN GRASS. Glyphosate WEED KILLER is non-residual spray. Make sure you follow the directions carefully for all herbicides and chemicals.
