MURRAY BRIDGE & DISTRICTS ORCHID CLUB INC.

The aim of the club is for members to enjoy good fellowship, and to gain and share knowledge of growing better orchids and preserving natural species.

MONTHLY MEETINGS:- Held on the fourth Sunday from February to November. Doors open at 1.45 PM,
JOHNSTONE PARK COMBINED CLUBS HALL
Adelaide Rd, Murray Bridge 5253.
Flowering orchids benched for popular vote and plant of the day.
Plant commentary, Raffle (orchid as prizes), Guest speakers.
LIBRARY - Orchid books, Videos, CD (available to members).
TRADING TABLE Orchid plants, Growing Supplies e.g. fertilizers, pots, tool sterilizing products, stakes, labels, etc.
Afternoon tea supplied Lucky members draw
Friendship and advice freely given. Visitors are welcome

GARDEN CLUBS


TEA TREE GULLY DISTRICT GARDEN CLUB INC.
Affiliated with The Garden Clubs of Australia Inc.
MEETINGS- Held on the first Monday of each month except January at the Uniting Church Hall, Montague Road, Modbury North, South Australia, opposite the Tea Tree Gully Council Chambers.
Doors open at 7.30pm. with meetings starting at 8.00pm. They have a raffle with several prizes, trading table and lending library available free to members.
They have interesting guest speakers most meetings and cut flower and floral art competitions with experienced judge's comments and awards.
Bus trips and tours, rallies, conventions and occasional garden workshops are all part of their busy club programme as well as annual involvement in the local council's Spring Fair and Garden Competitions.
Supper is provided by members and shared. Visitors are most welcome to attend meetings.

Willung Garden Club
WILLUNGA GARDEN CLUB INC.
Affiliated with the Garden Clubs of Australia Inc.
Monthly Meetings: Are held the second Thursday of each month, except January. As from Sept 9th 2004 meetings will be held at the new venue .The Lutheran Church Hall 6 Aldersey St.McLaren Vale, opposite the Southern Districts War Memorial Hospital. The meeting starts at 7 30pm. Visitors are most welcome.
ADMISSION $2.00 includes an interesting guest speaker, a lucky door prize and a gourmet supper.
They have a very competitive show bench competition., raffles with lots of gardening prizes, free lending library books & videos available. and a trading table at each meeting.
Bus trips and tours are organised and they host other garden clubs, and encourage their members to put their own gardens on show.
The club is also involved in community work such as helping prune the rose garden at the local hospital and the Aldinga Community Garden.
