Mulches and water savers from Brunnings

Johnson's Pea StrawJohnson's Pea Straw.

For decades South Australian gardeners have known the many benefits of pea straw.

Johnson’s Pea Straw improves soil, water-holding capacity and protects plants' root systems from extremes in climate and temperature. It stops soil erosion and improves soil structure.

This is a natural product, therefore, some germination may occur.

It is ideal for all plants including roses, pot plants, azaleas, camellias, rainforest and vegetable gardens.

Available in a bale compressed to 100 Litres, which will cover 10 M2.

This product is Australian owned and Australian made.

Organic garden mulchBrunnings Organic Garden Mulch is a rich blend of organic material which has been composted to become a humus based mulch. It is nutrient rich and moisture retentive.

The added humus also improves the soil structure and composition to enable the soil to hold water and nutrients longer.

Available in 40 litre and 70 litre sizes.

Cow ManureCow manure is one of natures oldest soil conditioners. It not only improves the structure of the soil but is high in nutrients for healthier trees, shrubs and gardens.

Brunnings Cow Manure is a high quality product. It is genuine cow manure, not blended and has been properly composted to minimise smell and improve texture. Ideal for all garden beds.

Available in 5, 10 and 25 litre sizes.

Easy Wetta - Soil Wetting AgentBrunnings Easy Wetta is a specially formulated wetting agent that can be used on lawns, gardens and even potting mixes. It improves the penetration of water in hard to wet soils so it can reach down to the roots of plants without leaving dry spots. Easy Wetta is ideal for use in hot, dry, summer conditions.

Easy Wetta can be applied using the convenient hose-on pack for lawns for larger areas. Alternatively we recommend hanging baskets and smaller pots to be heavily soaked in a container of Easy Wetta to maximise water retention over the long hot summer.

Available in 1 litre and 2 litre hose-on.

GypsumBrunnings Gypsum Clay Breaker is a genuine mineral gypsum which not only breaks up heavy clay soils, but improves soil structure, aeration and drainage.

It is also an excellent source of calcium. Brunnings Gypsum is the ideal preparation prior to any planting in heavy claim soils resulting in greater water and nutrient retention and therefore more healthier lawns and gardens.

Available in 10 and 25 kg sizes.
